Most everyone will belong to one of the Houses in the game. You can either work to further your House or bring it to its knees. Each of the Houses have been pre-generated with their Holdings and Resources already established. As the game progresses though, the actions of the players will begin to change the house for better or worse. Each month the House receives two actions, the House Fortune action, and the House Action.
House Fortune Roll
Each month of in game time, the players may opt to have a House Fortune roll. If they do I will roll and compare the result with the table in the core rulebook to determine what will happen to the house during that month. The decision to have a House Fortune roll must be made at the beginning of the month and whatever occurs from the roll will happen through the next four weeks of in game time. If you choose not to have a House Fortune roll then you may instead increase any single House Resource by 1. The House must have a House Fortune roll at least once every three months. If you do not then steward or acting steward of the House must a roll a Status test and use that result in place of the House Fortune roll.
Donating Gold and Glory
As usual, the characters may donate the gold they earn to their house to increase its Wealth. For every 200 gold dragons donated the House's Wealth will increase by +1. Also, the Glory that the group earns may be either used to grant a +1B on a single test or it can be invested in the House. If invested in the House then you may increase any single resource by +1 for each point of Glory invested.
House Actions
Each of the actions listed in Chapter 6 of the core rulebook can be done in this game. The only difference is there is one new action that a House may perform listed below.

- Trade Resources:A House may trade resources with another House as though they were using the "Manage Resources" House Action found in Chapter 6. Instead of the initial resource being converted and into the new resource, it is given to the other House in exchange for the new resource. Use Table 6-19:Resource Management in Chapter 6 as a guideline for such trades. Narrator approval is needed for resource trades that fall outside this table.
